Here's how the garden looks now....but in a few weeks it will be totally enclosed with a white picket fence and gate! So try to ignore the ugly temporary fencing around the beds, it's only to keep the goats, chickens, dogs and kids OUT.

These are the Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkins growing, I need to space them out a little now that their bigger. Their about 4 inches tall in this picture, but I should start measuring or "charting" their growth to really track their progress.

Here's a close up...smile little pumpkins :)

These are the Sunflowers, they will grow 6-8 feet believe it or not! One has already died so I planted several more in this bed. They are very fragile and do not tolerate being transplanted once their more than three or so inches tall. It will be great to see these baby's out our dining room window when they reach full height. We can also harvest seeds from them at that point for next year!

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your sunflowers and pumpkins Jess! I can't wait to eat some yummy homemade pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving from pumpkins you are growing!!
